CHINA JOY 2021 WITH QUEEN STUDIOS' MOK

Earlier in 2021, Queen Studios attended China Joy in Shanghai. This was an opportunity for the team to meet collectors in China, and showcase some of Queen Studios' new and upcoming collectibles. 

In this post, discover what Queen Studios Co-Founder had to say about the collectibles that are on the way from the team. 

WHAT ARE THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE QUEEN STUDIOS CHINA JOY EXHIBITION? WHAT WORKS HAVE YOU SHOWCASED?

For this event, we wanted to show some new collectibles beside from our classics. Some of these collectibles are available now, and some we'll release in the future. Some of the most notabel collectibles we had on display include, the Dark Knight Joker life-size statue, Joker Police Uniform 1/3 statue, the Darkside 1/4 statue, and a pair of Museum Line Batman and Superman 1/4 statues.

In addition, the on-site award-winning games and Cosplay interactions really gave a more immersive experience to the fans who came to the exhibition.

WHAT DO FANS THINK OF THE NEW PRODUCTS? HOW ARE THE NEW COLLECTIBLES SOLD?

Before the China Joy exhibition, we released silhouettes of the collectables we were going to release at China Joy. This gathered quite a lot of attention. On the day of the official opening of the exhibition, fans rushed to the booth to check out the new collectables and to pre-order their favorites. This sort of excitement is why we love doing what we do. On the first day, over 200 people placed orders for the Joker Police Uniform 1/3 scale statue alone.

IN YOUR OPINION WHICH IS THE MOST ELEGANT QUEEN STUDIO COLLECTIBLE

Our most elegant product has to be the Catwoman statue that we launched at the Shanghai Wonder Festival. Domestic and foreign enthusiasts have highly sought after this collectible. Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy is one of my favorites, and the Catwoman on the Batpod is a classic image we were excited to bring to life. We’ve captured the courageous appearance of Anne Hathaway in the movie with the utmost sincerity. Her slender figure contrasts with the brutal shapes of the Batpod. It's a true work of art!

WHAT DO YOU THINK ARE THE MAIN REASONS BEHIND FAN’S ENTHUSIASM FOR QUEEN STUDIOS’ COLLECTIBLES?

One is support from our licensing partners. We are fortunate to have a strong cooperation with some major global IP companies. At present, we have authorization from many world-renowned films and television companies, including Disney (Marvel), Warner  Brothers (DC), Hasbro (Transformers), etc.

Everyone knows these companies. We are the first company in the world to sign contracts for hyper-realistic busts with both Disney and Warner Brothers. However, what is more important, is our high-quality design and development capabilities and unique aesthetic understanding of the statue and the collectibles life-like texture and painting. Guaranteeing quality is also why we have gained the trust and support of collectors and fans alike.

IN THE FUTURE, WHAT OTHER EXHIBITIONS AND BLOCKBUSTER NEW PRODUCTS WILL QUEEN STUDIOS HAVE?

This year, we hope take part in the Shanghai PTS in October and the Beijing WF in November. As for our new products, stay tuned, you won’t be disappointed.
