About The Character
Jetpower Optimus Prime is a powered-up form created by fusing Optimus Prime with the veteran Transformer Jetfire. When Optimus was heavily wounded and struggling to defeat Megatron and the Fallen, Jetfire sacrificed himself, donating his jet engines and weapon systems to empower Optimus with both aerial and ground combat capabilities. With this upgraded form, Optimus successfully defeats the Fallen and turns the tide of the battle.
Visually, Jetpower Optimus Prime combines heavy armor, jet thrusters, and multiple weapons, giving him an imposing, mechanical look that is widely regarded as one of the coolest and most iconic forms in the movie universe.
