Queen Studios uses high grade silicone used in the Food Industry for food moulds, as well as the medical industry for prosthetics.

This silicone is completely safe, environmentally friendly, odourless, tasteless and non-toxic.

This type of silicone is very high quality and it is expected to last for 30+ years, but could last much longer if cared for correctly.

Each bust and statue we make will come with care instructions so you can get the most out of your bust.

This is completely up to you. Some of our customers display our busts in a case and some don't. The most important thing is that you keep your bust away from sharp objects and do not display the bust in direct sunlight.

Silicone is a naturally soft material that lasts a long time. As it ages however, past the 30+ year mark, the silicone tends to get much firmer and would be less soft.

Rick Baker Monster Maker mentioned on the Joe Rogan show that some of his masks and props from movies have lasted since the early 70's, and still look good on display. The Medical Grade Silicone we use in our busts is a lot more durable than the props from this era and is extremely high quality. We expect the silicone will last for a long time if stored correctly but should get firmer towards the end of its life.
